Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, age 79. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Rose; children, Doreen (John) LiPari, Lisa (Paul) McPherson and Mark (Kristen) Schichtel; grandchildren, Phil and Sadie LiPari, Ben and Abby McPherson, Eli and Jonah Schichtel; sister, Nancy (Robert) Hodgson; brothers, Peter (Barbara) and Terry (Mary Jane) Schichtel; nieces and nephews. A Vietnam War Army Veteran, Allan was a long-time member, and chaplain of the Webster VFW Post 9483. He enjoyed vacationing with family and especially loved going to his grandchildren’s games and events. A volunteer with the Webster Food Pantry, Allan was also a Eucharistic minister, sharing the eucharist with many elderly and homebound people. At home, he enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 16 at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
